Overview
Following up on the success of Genius Home Studio, HP and Genius teamed up once again to create an EP with emerging artists working under the mentorship of established mentors. Watch the sizzle above to see how it all came together.
The Refreshed Genius Home Studio Platform
Genius Home Studio 2.0
Previously, the Genius Home Studio platform only included the ability to create a beat. But this go-around, Genius Home Studio now supported vocal recording capabilities, allowing emerging artists and musicians to create a full song within their browser for free.
Once again, artists were able to download their newly-created tracks and submit them to Genius for a chance to be featured across our socials. Additionally, a select few who dropped some serious heat were gifted brand new HP laptops.

The Making Of The EP
For the creation of the EP, Genius tapped emerging artists and producer DviousMindz to use sounds from the Genius Home Studio platform to create original tracks. We then paired emerging artists with established artist-mentors who offered career advice and feedback for their songs. These working sessions were captured in original videos and shot on HP.
